Recently, a pivotal milestone was achieved for the 2000HP offshore modular drilling rig built by the company for the Gulf of Mexico—the first batch of skid-mounted modules has set sail for the offshore platform, marking the project's official transition into the offshore installation phase.

  As the company's first relocatable offshore modular drilling rig, this equipment integrates a complete drilling system and auxiliary equipment, enabling disassembly and assembly without the need for large floating cranes. It embodies the collective ingenuity of the entire research, development, and manufacturing team, showcasing China's comprehensive strength in the field of offshore equipment.

  Upon the drilling rig's arrival at the customer's site, the company promptly assembled an elite service team and dispatched them to Mexico. The team assisted the customer in efficiently advancing preliminary preparations, precisely verifying skid-mounted module parameters, formulating an optimal transportation plan, and scientifically planning the site layout. After the ocean vessel's arrival at the port, all skid-mounted modules were unloaded in just 4.5 days. Leveraging the well-prepared pre-inspection packing lists, the team completed customs clearance for over 200 cargo items within 10 days, securing precious time for the project.

  During the pre-assembly phase at the dock, the service team overcame multiple challenges, including scorching heat, dietary differences, mosquito infestations, and seasickness. Faced with the unexpected situation where key external suppliers failed to deliver components on time, the team leveraged their extensive experience and robust technical expertise to successfully resolve numerous issues. They completed the pre-assembly and rectification work before installation on the offshore platform, laying a solid foundation for the formal installation process.
